The Faculty Steering Committee
The Student Steering Committee
The ESMOAS Faculty Steering Committee is made up of faculty advisors from universities participating in the ESMOAS program. These advisors serve on a volunteer basis, either as at-large members voted in by the committee, as ex-officio members by virtue of being conference or workshop host institutions, as the chairperson of the ESMOAS Judging Committee, as the student Secretary General for that year, or as the Executive Program Director (who administers the program and the conference at the behest of the faculty committee).
The Faculty Steering Committee makes final decisions regarding the content and execution of all aspects of the ESMOAS Program, and meets annually during the Parliamentary Procedures Workshop to discuss issues related to the program. They present their findings and proposals annually to the faculty participants of the ESMOAS Conference at its annual Faculty Luncheon.

In 2013, the ESMOAS Steering Committee added a new opportunity for students by establishing the ESMOAS STUDENT STEERING COMMITTEE (SSC).
The SSC was established to ensure continued student input and participation in the planning and execution of the ESMOAS conference and workshop each year, providing each participating institution a voice in shaping the Rules of Procedure and other logistical changes. Each participating university may nominate one student, who must be returning the following year, to serve on the next year's SSC. This committee then meets with the Secretary General and Parliamentarian immediately after the close of the conference and discuss possible changes to the conference, workshop, program logistics, or rules of procedure. Their suggestions are then forwarded to the Program Director and the Faculty Steering Committee, who make changes to the program as necessary. In return for serving on the SSC, students receive recognition at the following conference, a letter of thanks and recommendation from the ESMOAS office, and valuable personal leadership experience.

ESMOAS Judging Committee
The ESMOAS Judging Committee is a group of volunteers who are notable graduates of participating institutions and now serve in the public or private sector. The committee is by invite only, and is responsible for providing objective evaluations for participating institutions in either the Summit of the Americas competition or the IACHR Moot Court competition. Only members of the alumni group who have served previously as an RWR Committee member or other volunteer are eligible to judge. Judges provide their services free of charge to our program, though their lodging and board during the conference are covered by the program.
