Important Dates for IACHR 2025

Forms and Instructions
In order to participate in the IACHR Moot Court Competition, each of the following items must be completed:
- Teams must register (registration opens January 10). All teams must register by March 2, 2025
- Registration fees must be paid by March 2 ($150/participant. Faculty sponsors are free of charge)
- Team rosters must be finalized by February 10.
- Individual Contact Forms must be submitted for each student participant by February 10,
- Each participating institution has the option of scheduling a client interview. One interview with the state and one with the petitioner will be granted per institution. These must be scheduled between February 3 and February 17. Client interviews will take the place of the clarification questions from previous conferences. These interviews may be scheduled beginning the day of the hypothetical case release, and must be scheduled for time slots between February 3 and February 17. Requests for interviews may be made directly via email to moascentral@gmail.com.
- Each member of each team (state and petitioner representative) must submit a written legal memorial by March 2.
- Attend your two assigned hearings via Zoom on March 14-15
- Seeding for the Tournament Round will be based on combined scores from the Preliminaries and the written memorials. The more favorable seeds (those with the higher score ranked higher than their opponent) will have the option to choose which side they wish to argue in the first round of the tournament. These decisions must be submitted via email to moascentral@gmail.com no later than March 21 (seeding is announced March 17)..
